Commission 3 and 9 annual meetings "How we gather and deal with our data today"

FIG Commissions 3 and 9 and EGOS are pleased to invite you to the joint workshop titled

“Surveying - Registration - Valuation - How we gathered and deal with our data today"

The workshop focuses on the technical interoperability of geospatial data: at system level (data exchange through networks, computers, applications, and web services), Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI) that provide a framework of policies, institutional arrangemewnts, technologies, data and people.

Further to the the workshop will focus on the economic strand of surveying also looking at compulsory acquisition, sustainable land and property taxation, new technology such as AVMs, informal land markets, new sectors such as natural-ecosystem value and new valuation standards and methodology.
